This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
 on earth as it is in heaven.
 Give us today our daily bread.

 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
  And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

Here is the Lord’s prayer. This is how Jesus said we should pray. Let’s take a look at what it has in it.

We can praise God with this.

We can ask for his will to be done.

We can ask him for our daily bread.

We can ask God to forgive our sins.

We can ask God to help us not to get tempted to do wrong.

We can ask him to deliver us from the evil one.
